COVID-19 Coronavirus Social Distancing Protocols For Essential Services
Oregon Trail Moving is open for business during the COVID-19 Coronavirus crisis as an essential service. Here’s what we’re doing in order to comply with our governor’s orders as well as protect our customers and crew members.
We’re sanitizing all hard surfaced equipment before each move. Crew members are wearing face coverings and gloves. We’re practicing safe social distancing and we’re informing customers of our protocols in advance so you’ll know what to expect when we arrive.
When a client contacts Oregon Trail Moving about scheduling we ask a series of questions. When we determine we can service the client we inform them of the procedures we are undertaking here at our office and on the jobsite. We ask that they make sure that the crews will be able to move freely and that there will be sufficient distance between the people at the location and the crews. In some cases we ask that pets or children are watched to ensure there isn’t accidental breach of distancing policy. If you have any special needs or requests we’ll do our best to accommodate as always.
All of our usual partners are open and running and things have been running as normal here in Oregon. Here are some updates from PODS and U-Haul.
U-Haul sanitizes all trucks before rentals and you can read more about their procedures on their announcement page here; https://www.uhaul.com/Announcement
PODS is offering contactless services and we are available as a service for PODS by booking through their website or directly with us. You can read more about their safety updates here; https://www.pods.com/covid-19#Safety
